Christmas Eve 2021 | Lessons & Carols
Restorationstaunton

The Service of Nine Lessons and Carols is only a little over 100 years old, which is young in comparison to many of our liturgies, but it has become a staple Advent / Christmas Eve celebration in many Anglican churches. It traces some of the main points of God redemptive story from the fall of mankind, through the idea of a substitutional sacrifice, to the promise of a king, to the actual birth of Jesus and the visitation of the Magi. This year we have captured all the spoken audio; we hope it is worshipful for you.
